Caring for widows

Daw TTH is living in an informal settlement in Yangon, has faced immense hardships. Out of her four children, three have tragically passed away, along with her husband. For the past ten years, she has been living with her only surviving son, who is now 32 years old. Sadly, her son has suffered from a seizure disorder since he was 14, experiencing more than five seizures a day, even while eating. Due to his condition, Daw TTH must constantly watch over him, taking care of his every need, which makes it difficult for her to earn a stable income. After learning about CCM’s clinic, Daw TTH brought her son for treatment. Over the course of three months, his condition has improved dramatically. The once frequent seizures have reduced to just one every three weeks. This has allowed Daw TTH to leave her son in the care of neighbors while she goes out to earn a living. With deep gratitude, Daw TTH shared, "I’m really thankful for the CCM team and all the donors for your kindness and generosity towards those in need like us. Thanks to the CCM clinic, we can visit once a week without worrying about the cost, and I can now leave my son at home, knowing he’s safe, while I work to support us. I’m overjoyed to see my son’s health improving, and I wish the CCM team and all the donors a life full of joy and happiness.
