Complications and celebrations for a mother in Myanmar
Complicated pregnancies are often made more complicated by COVID-19. One of our friends from a rural area had a known cardiac complication that set the odds at least an equal chance of surviving the pregnancy as not. We invited her to come and stay with us, and we would do our best to give her the best chance of life with her beautiful family. Yesterday evening she was able to deliver safely. With the assistance of a vacuum birth, we have a happy mama and baby.
Please pray for this young mom over the coming time as her body adjusts to not being pregnant and having a new baby under her care. We are celebrating with this family.
