Double Blessings!

For a long time we had been routinely seeing twin pregnancies. It is always a lot of fun telling women that there is a "pair in there", but it had been a while since we had seen one. My colleagues and I were only just commenting that we hoped we hadn't missed diagnosing any twins when this mama came in. She was hoping we would tell her she was having a baby girl as she already had 3 sons. We were suspicious about palpating her abdomen and then we quickly found when we put the ultrasound on her belly that there were not 1 but 2 babies in there. As we were telling her this she says - "but am i having a girl?" We were measuring the first twin, and this babe was not shy in showing us he is a boy. We told her this and she said - "can you see the other one?" We had fun trying and our suspicions were that it was a girl, but i guess we will wait to find out!
